Joanne Weir's Cooking Confidence
In “Joanne Weir’s Cooking Confidence”, Joanne’s love of teaching and working side-by-side with her student takes center stage. Awarded the very first IACP Julia Child Cooking Teacher Award of Excellence, Joanne shares a lifetime of experience that flavors everything she touches.
This series features hands-on cooking lessons with Joanne and her home kitchen as the classroom. Both the student and viewer learn how to prepare a wide variety of Joanne's recipes, using the freshest and most seasonal ingredients. Rather than simply listing ingredients, method, cooking time and serving size, these recipes feature additional instructions to inspire and instill confidence in the kitchen.

Joanne Weir's Cooking Class - Season One & Two
Watch my new 26-part PBS series, "Joanne Weir's Cooking Class", which is airing on PBS stations across the country! The entire series was shot in my actual home kitchen in San Francisco, and in each episode I work side-by-side with one of my real-world students for a hands-on cooking lesson. I had so much fun shooting the show and working with my students in the kitchen—not to mention the wonderful crew!
Visit the Joanne Weir's Cooking Class website, where you can find an episode list, show recipes, station information, and an online store to buy the 4 DVDs with printable recipes from all of the shows.
Weir Cooking in the Wine Country II
Twenty-six Half-hour Episodes; No longer airing
The wine country has its own style of relaxed and casual living, cooking and entertaining. It's a love of pairing simple, bold-flavored food with delicious wine and celebrating the pleasures of the table with family and friends.
In this second wine country series, I return to my beloved vineyard home for another season of dishes inspired by gracious living and ready access to the finest and freshest ingredients. This show was an enormous success and ran for several years on public television stations nationwide. Although it is no longer available for viewing, the recipes are still accessible in the companion cookbook, Joanne Weir's More Cooking in the Wine Country (available in bookstores and at amazon.com). And, of course, the show and all its recipes continue to inspire all of my work.
